Welcome from your Director
“Somewhere something incredible is waiting to be known”
-Carl Sagan

Here at the Montrose Early Childhood Center, we want every child to discover incredible things every day.  When you join the MECC, you become part of a wonderful family where each child is respected for their unique qualities and the contributions they can make to their learning and the learning of others.  We pride ourselves on being an inclusion community of learners.

We hope that if you decide to join us on our mission, you will consider how you can make a contribution to your child’s education.  We embrace family participation in our classrooms and through our remarkable Parent Teacher Association.  You are your child’s first teacher and will always be the most important support in your child’s future educational endeavors.  We hope to partner with you on that road and together watch them bloom!

Welcome from your PTA President

On behalf of the Montrose PTA, I’d like to welcome you to our wonderful community! We will strive to keep the lines of communication open between parents, teachers, administrators and the SOMa School District.  We hope you’ll join us this year as we provide educational and fun opportunities for our young learners and volunteer opportunities for parents and caregivers. We hope you and your child have a great school year!
